Thankgiving Birthday

Perry turned 19 on Thanksgiving.
He chose the desserts.
He requested volume in his sweets.
But first the main meal.

Kyle & Kari set the table.

I think Neale is ready to eat!

Almost ready ~ yes I believe we have enough food.

Happy faces because very body has their favorites.

In the middle of the table is the new tradition fried banana peppers.
This could be dangerous owning a fryer.

Joey & I.
Notice the banana peppers ~ bottom left corner.

Yes, that is my husband jumping in the trash can.

Mom I'm cold, I have thin blood now that I live in Florida.

Yes, Patti!

Perry: Love me some red velvet cake!

Make a wish!

Now this is what I'm talking about ~ VOLUME!

Kyle, the dessert hostess.
Kari has made her selection.

Isaac cake, pie or both?

It must be good!

Christmas Memories

In November Denise, Peggy and I decorated tables for Christmas Memories at FBC.
We were ask to use Christmas china and let our imagination run wild.
Well, as you can guess my imagination is colorful!
Denise is more traditional & her table was lovely.
We all enjoyed hosting our tables and meeting the ladies we dined with that cold & rainy
November Saturday.

We were asked to provide a treat for our table guest.
I printed Christmas note cards & we added a few goodies to our bags.

Linda & Peggy's gift bags for our guests

Linda & Peggy's table.

Our guest took home the bag & the tray as our gift.

Yes, I do have a colorful vision!
Hey, what can I say this is how God made me ~loving color!

Would you sit at our table?

Denise's table.

Yes, she had great gift bags too!
Note the china, we don't think it can be replaced.
Centerpiece

How pretty is this table ~ very!

Light that candle.

Come back next year we will do something new & different!
I have lots of colorful ideas.

Senior Week

Senior Week
On career day Perry went as what?
Can you guess from the photo?

A theater teacher of course!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Friday was senior assembly.
Senior Superlatives were announced.
Meet guess who?
The Class Dad 2009.
Helping a friend with Senior Project.
Perry said yes to helping a friend with Senior Project.
So he helped with set design & building the set for Taylor.
During the performance Perry was the tech guy.
I have to congratulate Taylor on his performance.
Taylor and a female lead sang for one hour & twenty minutes.
Both have beautiful voices. Four performances that is a lot of vocal work.
Ted's
As you know my politics and those of Ted Turner are polar opposites.
But Ted knows a good burger when he tastes one and so do I.
So I can highly recommend Ted's Montana Grill.
Have a house salad with the house dressing.
Order the burger of your choice.
Then sit back and enjoy.
Bison or Beef
Decor?
Cell bane of existence.
The Arkansas Game
It did not start out well!
It was so cold.
We were surrounded by Arkansas fans & a young man so drunk
when he passed out he split his nose open.
Young adult Arkansas fan who where disrespectful to senior Arkansas fans.
These are teachable moments.
But sitting in front of us where two wonderful women and we had a great time with them.
I would love to be at another game sometime with those fine ladies!
Go Cats!!!!
But it ended well, very well!
Mr. Cobb you will be a star!
Thanks for choosing Kentucky.
