The MoonLite In May

In May we traveled to Owensboro for Joey's Fortieth High School Reunion.

But what would a trip home be without a trip to the Moonlite Bar-B-O Inn?

Theater Final

Last May we attended what is termed "Theater Final"

All of the students in the class performed at least twice.

They each had a solo piece, then performed with other students in one acts.

It was a fun evening

Yes, we passed with an A.

Am I Crazy?

Yes, I am crazy! One bathroom remodel wasn't enough for me, no I needed to test my mental health. Seriously this was fun, it's a small space and I could go modern. I love the vessel sink in the powder room but I wanted to stay traditional in the master bath plus the under mount sinks are a fresh new look ~ at least in this house! By the way when looking for a new commode think Toto.

The Treesh Backyard (March)

Over spring break Kyle & Isaac finished their backyard. We spread 25 bales of pine needles. I love pine needles it is so quick & easy to spread. Hopefully I will be able to post an after photo.
I can't wait to see how much everything has grown. I bet it is stunning! I am craving a swim.

This was a spring training game - the Grapefruit League! Believe it or not this game was a preview of the World Series - Rays ~ Phillies. Tampa took the win that afternoon!

Last Thanksgiving

Almost a year ago we started a remodel on our master bath. My goal was for the project to be finished in six weeks. If the floor to our newly tiled shower had been installed correctly I would have been close to my original timeline. Last March we were finally finished. We love our new bathroom - especially the shower - not only is it bigger but all those shower jets really do relieve all the aches & pains.

Well as you can see it was worth the wait! We are still missing one piece of trim but not for long - that last piece will soon be installed. If you are thinking about remodeling DO IT! It's a mess, it's a pain but soooooooo worth it.
